# these are genuinely different places rather than one place under three names

# and each spelling is written out; a consumer skips the ones that do not

# exist. The folder can also be moved with $TRANSMISSION_HOME.

# rpc-password is the password for the daemon's web interface and RPC port.

# Transmission rewrites it as a salted hash on the first run after it is set,

# The rule names every spelling of settings.json in `paths`, because a rule

Opens Otty and adds this tool to what it syncs

Opens otty://sync/add/transmission. Otty ships with this catalog, so the link only has to name the tool — nothing is downloaded.

Every one of these is generated from the same rules as this page. None of them splits download-dir and incomplete-dir for you — that part is Otty’s own sync, or a template you write by hand.
